When I was working towards my solo exhibition at Stamford Arts Centre in 2018, I decided to try to make my paintings of Stamford a little more eye catching. This doorway painting was done on six canvases and was displayed originally on a green board. The concept has echoes of rayonism and cubism, but I wanted the image to be recognisable and representational.
