This small collage was one of four depictions of the first house that my husband and I lived in when we were first together. It was a piece I did at college in an experiment to use different and original methods of illustration. I used multicoloured printer paper on which was written the first words of the 60s song by Crosby Stills and Nash that begins ‘My House…is a very very very nice house …’ and ends ‘Life used to be so hard, now everything is easy ‘cos of you’.
