I painted this portrait of my three-year-old granddaughter in 2009 after I had graduating with a Fine Art degree from Lincoln University. I had, after four years of intensive study, gained the confidence to paint a large oil painting which I later exhibited in my first exhibition at Stamford Arts Centre in 2010.
