This image became a major part of my artistic practice for several months. I painted it after a holiday visit as the lines, structure and colours of these iconic huts really appealed to me. After exhibiting it in my solo exhibition at Stamford Arts Centre in 2015 I was asked to do a copy as a commission. I then did a smaller version which sold in my next exhibition in 2018, and I have had numerous giclee prints made of the original image which has emerged as one of my best selling and popular paintings.
